A VIRTUAL PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP (PPG) WAS FORMED DURING THE SUMMER. THE PATIENT GROUP HAS IDENTIFIED THAT 'ONLINE' PATIENT SERVICES WOULD BE USEFUL FOR PATIENTS. THE SURGERY WILL BE ADVISING PATIENTS OF THE PROGRESS OF THIS PROJECT HERE ON THE WEBSITE. PLEASE WATCH THIS SPACE FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS. Thank you to all members of the PPG for their time. Patients will be invited to join the PPG annually. Please watch for further news of this here and on notices in the surgery.

 NEW PATIENTS WISHING TO REGISTER AT BROWNHILL SURGERY are required to complete questionnaires. These are available to print from this website (see section registration) or hard copies can be collected from the surgery.

We are participating in the National Health Check Programme. Our patients aged 40-74 years who do not have pre-existing medical conditions will receive an invite to a health check appointment at the surgery once every five years. If you receive an invite we would encourage you to follow the instructions in the letter and make the appointment for your screening check.

ARMED FORCES AND MILITARY VETERANS - WE WELCOME PATIENT REGISTRATION FOR THESE GROUPS - IF YOU LEAVE/HAVE LEFT THE FORCES AND REGISTER/HAVE REGISTERED WITH THIS PRACTICE PLEASE MAKE SURE WE KNOW YOU WERE IN THE ARMED FORCES.

We are participating in the MMR immunisation catch up programme. If you are aged between 6 years and 18 years (in full-time education) you should have received 2 doses of MMR injections. If you have received a letter inviting you to attend please make an appointment.

Every housebound person in the UK who is over 60 years or suffers with diabetes is entitled to a NHS funded sight test in their own home. We participate in the Extended hours scheme, which means we have appointments available with GP's, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants from 7.20am some mornings and up to 7.30pm some evenings.
